– UPDATE: Jun 6th –

Well, to resume what’s going on these past few months, once I finished working on that high demand project (check the first update below) I started working like crazy on what’s probably the biggest personal project of my life. I thought I could handle everything… I was naive…

And even though I know sometimes we have to sacrifice something to achieve something bigger in the future, I felt like such a failure… I wanted to do it all, at the same time. Be more productive, keep improving, keep posting, keep being stolen, keep….. Then…there’s ai. And we artists don’t have one day at peace. Every day there’s something new to catch up and I…

I’m just tired.

And being tired and punching on the wall is not going to help me make this story the way I want… so I need to breath first. Literally, actually.

I recently discovered that I need surgery because my breathing is 50% compromised. I haven’t been able to breath properly for the past ~10 years and this has been bringing me all sorts of consequences that I didn’t even know the source of the problem until recently. So, now I need to save enough money to pay for this and, as you might have guessed, it’s really expensive… So… I need to do all of this on my own pace. I’m not a machine after all and my body has been sending me too many signals to show me that I can’t keep procrastinating this.

I know it’s only fair I give you consistent updates, but that’s something I cannot do at the moment. I’m trying to figure it out a balance in the middle of all the chaos.

I am working on the next chapter thumbnail sketches and I cannot wait to start doing pages again. I’m very excited to where the story is going and I hope you’ll enjoy reading it too, once it’s out.

First update of the year!! Aand another double pages it’s! But also the end of the chapter!

This was quite longer than the previous one, eh? Phew…

Well, some announcements.

I’ve been working in a high demand project since November and had to stop doing pages for a while. Now all my buffer pages are gone, but I’m glad I managed to finish the chapter nevertheless.

This project is contract based and it’s going to end next month! So, once it’s over, I’ll start working on chapter 3 thumbnails and I want to build my buffer pages back up.

I’m putting a 2-3 months break to do all of that, so around late March/ early April I’ll send a newsletter letting people know chapter 3 has started!

I’m really happy to be working on this client project and I might be able to show a bit of what I’ve been working (after the release) probably in the first half of 2024! :3

But since not all are flowers, I’ve been trying really hard to not burn myself out with such high demand and not make my tendonitis worst than it’s.

I skipped today’s workout, so I’m not doing so great on that second part. T-T
