Some color tests I’ve done for Allen from FlounderStyle Studios for his newest superhero comic story!

First, I explored some sort of anime coloring style, making it less dramatic and more vivid. Then, I tried my hand at a cinematic version, focusing on movement and mood.

Needless to say that I love a moody drama, so I’m very happy he chose the cinematic version for battle scenes and the anime/lightened/fun version for the casual ones. :3

And last but not least, the line art and layout was done by Paulo Mel, a fellow Brazilian artist who’s extremely skilled! I highly recommend you checking his work.
